Welcome to Classroom 1
Room 1 is a 9:1:1 integrated classroom with students between three to five years of age. We have a busy schedule which includes activities such as, circle, structured free play, gym, music, large group learning, math and small group centers. The students are constantly learning in a fun and active environment. We emphasize language development, social skills, independence and school readiness.
Our classroom is comprised of students with special needs and general education students. Our program offers an exceptional curriculum that targets each child’s specific goals, learning styles and diverse learning needs. We follow the Core Knowledge Language Arts and Engage New York math curriculum.
We are excited to see where this year takes us and to see the progress each child makes.
