Bridges ABA is a complete program using many proven techniques in addition to applied behavior analysis.
Bridges is a school within a school at Newmeadow in Malta and Queensbury, New York. Bridges ABA is for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Fifty percent of our 120 special needs population, about 60 children, have ASD. Another 30 attend as nursery school children to populate truly integrated classrooms.
Within the Bridges ABA center at Newmeadow, specially trained teachers provide the behavior therapy portion of each child’s program. Additional services may also be provided in the home by Newmeadow staff as determined necessary.
Bridges ABA services are coordinated within classroom programs, instruction and other therapies. All staff use Bridges ABA techniques. Bridges ABA team meetings are scheduled every week, and data on every child are reviewed no less than monthly.
