Newmeadow is a comprehensive ABA school which promotes, provides and reinforces the use of data driven teaching techniques for the instruction of all students.

Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

Saratoga, Clifton Park, and Waterford

MUST BE BCBA and/or NYSLBA in good standing
Master’s degree in special education, applied behavior analysis or psychology

Must possess strong verbal and written communication skills
Acceptance of philosophy and code of conduct of the agency and the Behavior Analysts Certification Board.

Some responsibilities include:

  • Conducts education and behavior assessments, creates and monitors client treatment and behavior plans
  • Supervises BT onsite one hour per ten hours of client services
  • Discusses client progress, reviews treatment and behavior plans with caregiver
  • Submits reports (e.g., reassessment, re-authorization and monthly reports)
  • Completes and submits progress notes per supervised visits

Rate of pay: $75/hour

Behavior Technician (BT)/ Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)

Saratoga, Clifton Park, and Waterford

High School diploma (BT).
Certification as an RBT in good standing (RBT).

Some responsibilities include:

  • Work with children in their home and community, teaching them communication skills, social skills, and play skills through Applied Behavior Analysis principles
  • Learn from a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) how to provide therapy to children and families in need of support
  • Arrive on time and prepared for therapy sessions
  • Provide in-home Applied Behavioral Analysis therapy
  • Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions
  • Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors
  • Be goal-oriented and maintain professionalism in all aspects of your work
  • Maintain confidentiality of all clients and professional conduct at all times

Qualifications:

  • Must be reliable, punctual, and professional
  • General written and verbal communication skills
  • Reliable transportation
  • Compassion and patience towards children with disabilities, and their families
  • Be goal-oriented and maintain professionalism in all aspects of your work

Rate of pay: BT $17.50; $20 RBT
