ABA Services

Newmeadow currently offers ABA insurance services! We provide in-home therapy or our newly added social skills learning groups encompassing the philosophy and techniques of Applied Behavior Analysis.

Applied Behavior Analysis is the science of behavior change. ABA applies our understanding of how behavior works and learning occurs to real life situations, making socially significant changes in behavior. Applied Behavior Analysis is a proven, research based methodology that has decades of research supporting positive and meaningful behavior change in children. ABA has really found its success in treating those with Autism, developmental and learning disabilities.  ABA is the only empirically proven treatment for Autism that leads to the reduction of negative behaviors, and acquisition of new skills.

Our in-home therapy is a one on one therapy that occurs within the child’s home targeting language development, adaptive living skills, play skills and behavior management.

Our social skills group take place on-site after program hours focusing on the development of social skills!

Eligibility:
1. Diagnosis on the Autism Spectrum from a qualified professional
2. Enrollment in Newmeadow preschool

*Currently we only provide insurance services for current Newmeadow preschool student to insure a quality, well-rounded and comprehensive ABA program.

How it works?

Home Services

An assessment will be completed by one of our Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), from this assessment we recommend a number of direct care hours. Typically, we find that 10-20 hours of direct care hour are most beneficial for our students in addition to their school based program.

These direct care hours are provided by Behavior Technician and they take place at the student’s home, or community settings. Supervision of the Behavior Technician is then provided by a BCBA once or twice a week depending on the number of direct care hours. The BCBA also provides parent training to help teach the family ABA techniques to promote skill acquisition and behavior management. A reassessment is done every 6 months to demonstrate progress and update goal programs.

We accept most major insurances and have private pay options. Contact us to today to find out more information.
